In this course, I will endeavor build a bridge to literature so that already avid readers may learn the art of reading into a novel beyond the plot, setting, and main characters. I will guide students in questions and ask that they write reflections that can be shared with all. We will begin with a novel that takes place in the 13th Century, Adam of the Road, by Elizabeth Janet Gray. Students should have the book in hand by the first session! Paperback edition preferred.
