Workshop Dates: Wednesday September 30th for 4 consecutive Wednesdays
Workshop Times: 7:00-8:00pm PST
Presenters: Rainbow Rosenbloom and Daniel Bittleston
Rainbow and Daniel will lead a series of 4 1hr. gatherings highlighting the importance of reflection, meditation, balance, and curiosity for the Waldorf-inspired, homeschool teacher. The format for this module will be conversation-style, primarily between Rainbow and Daniel, but also allowing for the interactive participation of the homeschooling parents in attendance.
Much of what stands behind Waldorf education is based upon an understanding of the human being that includes an active inner life.. This is integrated in many of the practices of Waldorf faculty within schools, and offers a wonderful opportunity for homeschooling parents to deepen their appreciation of how they are perceiving their children. We will refer to some of the guidance offered by Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education, and explore how his wisdom can be translated for modern times. These talks will be focused on the homeschooling environment.
