Idealism, Appreciation, and Mystery
Through Historical Biographies
Small World Coffee, 14 Witherspoon St, Princeton NJ 08540
The unique Waldorf approach to teaching history creatively and imaginatively leads students to a deeper enthusiasm for the evolving human story. Memorizing dates and events takes a back seat to the exploration of real stories and adventures. Studying the historical interconnection of people and ideas while imagining the evolution of consciousness allows for the richness of history to expand into appreciation and responsibility for the present.
Rainbow Rosenbloom, the Founding Director of Live Education!, will lead a discussion of how to prepare homeschooling students to enter a confusing world with curiosity and confidence sparked by the understanding of remarkable biographies. Our emphasis in this evening will be the middle school grades, but the subject will be of interest to all homeschooling parents using a Waldorf approach.
The presentation is free to Live Education! families, and by donation for others. Visit SmallWorldCoffee.com or call (609) 924-4377 x2 for directions.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, as seating is limited.
Hope you can be there!
